The BMT65 tool holder is widely used by many equipment manufacturers, especially for standard OD machining of parts, which can be classified into two types:
- Radial: This classic type of BMT tool holders features a slot for the shank positioned perpendicular to the rotation axis of the workpiece.
- Axial or BMT facing tool holder: Here, the slot for the tool is positioned parallel to the rotation axis, allowing for efficient groove machining.
