Technical Description

The tote mainly saves handling

A gallon of EDM101 costs only slightly less in the tote than in the 55-gallon drum. The real gain is less work: one delivery instead of five drums, one fixed draw-off point, and no empties to get rid of. That assumes you handle pallets with a forklift and have room for a 270-gallon container — if not, the drum is the better choice.

Check your consumption first

Unopened, EDM101 keeps for 24 months. To use up a tote in that time you need about 11 gallons a month — roughly one drum every five months. Do the sum before ordering.

What is in the tote

The same EDM101 as in the drum and the pail: a synthetic, odourless EDM oil for oil-based wire EDM and ultra-fine sinker finishing. The technical data are in the table above; the oil is described in full on the 55-gallon drum page. It is made to order. For topping up in between there is the 5-gallon pail.

Storage and notes

Keeps for 24 months unopened, stored at 5–40 °C (41–104 °F).
Slight colour variation between batches comes from the raw material and does not affect performance.
