The refractometer factor or Brix factor for CNC fluid concentrate is a multiplier used to convert the refractometer readings (Brix scale) into the actual concentration of the emulsion (concentrate + water).
EASYCUT PRO302 in a 270-gallon (1022 L) tote — the universal semi-synthetic coolant with aluminum inhibitors, for shops that run one coolant in every machine across aluminum, steel, cast iron and titanium. The lowest price per litre of the three sizes.
The point of a universal coolant is not having to think about which machine gets which fluid. PRO302 handles any aluminum alloy, steels, cast iron, titanium and up to a quarter of yellow metals, so a job shop can fill every sump — or a central system — from one tote. At 7 % a tote makes roughly 3,850 gallons of working coolant.
Plan the consumption before ordering: unopened, PRO302 keeps for 12 months, so the tote should be used at about 22 gallons (85 litres) of concentrate a month. If the shop uses less, 55-gallon drums are the better fit.
Keep it indoors, away from frost and direct sun. Mixing straight from the tote is easiest with the EASYMIX coolant mixer on the IBC adapter and bracket; for a mixed shop, 7–8 % is a sensible setting that covers aluminum and steel. Check sumps with a refractometer, factor 1.3.
The aluminum test result, full concentration table and technical data are on the PRO302 drum page.
